| The larger the
partnership the greater the success.
A single
property owner on a lake cannot solve Canada geese
nuisance on his property alone. He must partner
with other property owners to solve the problem.
Geese nest in one area and forage on other areas.
Chasing geese into the water without
excluding them from the water body (see integrated
solutions) is futile. They will return the first
chance they get.
If you manage a
golf course and the water body is on a neighboring
property that property owner must be part of the
partnership.
If you manage a
golf course and the geese are nesting on
neighboring property, the owners of the nesting
grounds must be part of the partnership.
If you manage a
golf course and the local water bodies and the
nesting is contained within your property you have
enough control to have an independent GeesePeace
program. Your example will also inspire others in
your community to implement their own GeesePeace
program.

build a GeesePeace program for your organization,
business or community, or need help in creating
