GeesePeace Goals

Reduce or eliminate growing human conflicts with "resident" Canada geese in communities, recreation areas, and business and commercial complexes in urban/suburban areas and lake communities across America.
Eliminate the debilitating effects on communities of disagreements over wildlife management issues.
Convert the energy of controversy to cooperative energy within the community, leading to other significant benefits in the community.
Create/develop leaders in communities who manage independent GeesePeace programs specifically suited to the unique environment and priorities of the local area.
Establish associations and cooperative programs with Federal, State and Local wildlife-focused organizations which advance non-controversial, humane solutions to wildlife conflicts.

To reach these goals GeesePeace:

Employs comprehensive, integrated strategies to identify areas where wildlife live, feed and breed, and engaging the people in all these areas in the search for and implementation of solutions.
Consults with nationally recognized humane organizations on the appropriate implementation of any program.
Develops, implements and promotes technologies such as GIS (Geographical Information Systems), as well as the latest communications systems to administer programs and projects.
